Abhishek Saxena grew up in Bhajanpura, Delhi — where ambition was never in short supply, but ease often was. From early on, he learned the way he still works best: with his hands, by doing, by trying and trying again.
He started working at twenty-one, taking on whatever came his way — selling property, running his own small toys-and-school-bags business, helping out in a college lab. Through all of it he put himself through an engineering diploma part-time — earning by day, studying by night — and saw it through to the end.
Along the way, he found his calling: light. Starting on the factory floor of an LED maker, he learned the craft from the ground up — testing fixtures, measuring lux and lumens, calibrating instruments, understanding exactly how light behaves before it ever reaches a wall. Over the years he carried that knowledge right across the trade — sales, sourcing, partnerships, even hands-on machine training overseas — always learning, always adding new skills, from solar to the latest technology.
In May 2024, after seventeen years across the lighting and electronics industry, he backed himself and founded Sunrays Solutions — turning a lifetime of hard-won, hands-on knowledge into a business of his own.
The name carries the spirit of it. Sunrays comes from Kiran — the Hindi word for a ray of light, and his mother's name. Every space Sunrays touches is, in a small way, a ray of her light cast onto it.
